Händel's "Lascia ch'io pianga" - Medium-Easy Trumpet Version

Some weeks ago I found a version of Händel's aria, "Lascia ch'io pianga", in some trumpet book. Quite a coincidence, because at that time I was teaching my pupils other Baroque tunes (Clarke's "Trumpet Voluntary"and Charpentier's "Te Deum Overture") and we were talking about how rich was the ornamentation in Baroque. How something written pretty simple could easily get like this:

Oh boy... let's not get there, at least not yet.

Here's an example track. Not too difficult, right?

Have the music sheet too. You may download the music sheet as PDF, or in MuseScore format, so you can edit, transpose, transcribe and customize it to your own needs.

I added on the music sheet some of the ornaments I did, but you feel free to come up with your own ornaments. Here is the backing track:

Lip Trill

Here is a video I found on YouTube about the jazz lip trill/ shake. I think it covers a lot of information.

The whole YouTube channel is very useful. Totally recommend to keep an eye on it, subscribe and "all that jazz" ☺

Dragonborn (from the Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim) - Medium Difficulty

Some of my teenage pupils are into video games, so I thought it's a good motivation to make some music from popular games.
So, if you are an adventurer and you didn't take an arrow in your knee, you might try this one.
You may download the music sheet as PDF, or in MuseScore format, so you can edit, transpose, transcribe and customize it to your own needs.

So, here's an example of how it's supposed to sound:
And here is the backing track:

Well, I hope this is fun. I think it's easier to play it on trumpet than learning the lyrics, but anyway, here's the original:

Star Wars Main Theme

Star Wars is a franchise that seems to go forever. Every generation seems to enjoy it (even if it seems that the most successful films are the original trilogy), and everybody loves the iconic music of John Williams. No surprise here, after all, in2005, the American Film Institute named the original Star Wars soundtrack as the most memorable score of all time for an American film.

My pupils of all ages likes to play it, so I had to make a version that fits several levels at the same time. The backing track fits both versions, but the versions are not compatible to each others.

Here's the easy version, which can fit the medium level too, if you play the middle part (with small notes).

And here's how it's supposed to sound:

And here is the advanced version. It goes up to C3.

And here's how it's supposed to sound:

Here's the backing track that fit both. Tempo is 100 bpm. You can use it to practice, to play it on a concert or to make a YouTube video with you playing the trumpet.
